Hang in there, Aston Martin!

For the 2026 season, Aston Martin is competing under new regulations with a fresh setup featuring an Adrian Newey-designed chassis (the AMR26) and a Honda power unit (the RA626H); however, the team is currently facing a very difficult situation. Struggling with performance and lagging behind, Aston Martin is clearly trailing the top teams, confronting the harsh reality that—depending on the circuit—they are, at best, the fifth-fastest team. The lack of performance in their current package has been laid bare, evidenced by a gap of over five seconds to the leaders during recent free practice sessions at the Belgian Grand Prix.
